Athletic Eligibility 

All incoming (first time) ninth graders are immediately eligible for participation in the athletic program.

• Enrollment as full-time student at John Glenn High School or virtual
• Passing 66% of all classes. Four out of Six classes (4/6) or Five out of Seven (5/7)
• Current Semester Eligibility—Student must be passing at least 4 of 6 classes with or 5 out of 7 without having two failing grades.
• As a reminder: (two falling grades, Two D’s would equal one failing grade (F) or 4 D’s= 2 F) 

Next Steps

1. Athletic department will send out grades for teams every two weeks via Mi Star
2. Weekly progress report that student takes to all classes, and then shares with coach and AD.
3. If progress is not made during this probationary period (1Week) the student will sit out from games or practice until progressing. The week of progress will make them eligible for the next week, not the current week of competition.
